Since the emergence of fuzzy set theory, many researchers worldwide have been attracted to study its theory and applications ranging from engineering, science and technology to social and management science. Its vast development welcomes some interest to Malaysian researchers as well. Hence, it is timely to create a platform at national level to discuss the subject seriously and also to have a community with the same field of interest. This seminar is intended to cater to these needs and it will be the first ever effort to gather those who are interested in the field
